Chronology of cameras Nikon
This is one of very few dual lens cameras made by Nikon. The 35 mm lens might have been useful, the 55 mm less so. A 55 mm was often found on cheap SLR's of the period as the standard lens.
The camera has a 'mode' for red eye reduction, using a two flash system. Other 'modes' include flash off, and one or two frames on self timer, both operated by impossibly tiny buttons under the lens. There is no LCD screen. The date back is powered independently of the body by a button battery.
Although it is attractive in appearance and well made, it does not seem to be very well thought out, and looks to have been made to a price. Contemporaries such as the Ricoh RT-550 provided greater photographic opportunities.
